The world is a beautiful place. And I don’t know about you, but I dream to see it all. There are endless breathtaking landscapes to explore, oceans to discover, wildlife to encounter and cultures to immerse yourself in.
What I have realized throughout my years of traveling is that every single country comes with its own kind of magic. Every land, every culture, every spectacle of nature that the country has to offer is unique in its own. For me, this makes it really difficult to choose destinations sometimes because my heart (and my eyes) want to choose all of them.
So I have decided to share 5 of the most beautiful nature destinations that I have not only visited but also lived in and integrated deeply into. These lands are abundant in everything that is beautiful in this world and leaves you speechless along every step of the journey.
I will also share a list of the most amazing nature spots to explore in each country so you can start planning the most unforgettable journey.

INDIA

Where do I even begin to explain what it is like to explore India. Most people travel to the classic India destinations: the Taj Mahal, The Golden Temple, Delhi, Mumbai, Rajasthan or Rishikesh. And while these destinations are most definitely worthy of being seen, there is a whole other side to India that most travelers never get to experience, or don’t even know about. And that is the nature side of this country.
India is by far one of the top most beautiful nature destinations in the whole world. India is so massive and so vast that the difference in landscapes as you travel from the South to the North, the East to the West and everything in between changes so dramatically. And the seasons are so wild from one region to another that you can experience the southern tropical beaches one week and the next week be completely surrounded by snow mountains in the North.
I feel extremely lucky to have experienced India during one of the most unique times in history. I lived in India for almost 2 years, all throughout covid. And saw this country in a way that only the people who were there with me at the time saw it.
India is so insanely big that no human will ever be able to see the entire country in one lifetime. But during my time there, I traveled from the very South of India to the very North where India borders Tibet. You can choose to travel the palm tree fringed beaches in South India and while you are there you can wander through the beautiful tropical backwaters and road trip through the Western Ghats and rolling tea plantations. You can travel to the more inland desert vibes of India where culture is a part of your daily experiences and spend nights sleeping under the stars. And of course, the Himalayas of India is a region of endless exploration and wander.
After living in India for almost 2 years and exploring from the South to the border of tibet, I have put together the Ultimate Guide to India with over 60 destinations including natural wonders and cultural experiences.
NATURE DESTINATIONS TO VISIT IN INDIA:

- Jaisalmer & Thar Desert – explore the beauty of India’s desert landscapes.

- South Goa – the most beautiful turquoise water beaches I saw in India.
- Vashisht – a snow mountain village with epic views, waterfalls and Himalayan hikes.
- Manali & Kullu Valley – I call this the valley of waterfalls. You can go on the most breathtaking scooter rides along the valley.
- Altal Tunnel – a tunnel that takes you through the mountains and into Lahaul valley which is just a complete wonderland of Himalayan magic.
- Ladakh – the best Himalayan experience in India. You can road trip on a motorbike endlessly here! High elevation desert sceneries, Tibetan culture and glacier lakes.
MADAGASCAR

When you blend together the nicest people you will ever meet, landscapes that feel so raw and wildlife that is so unique only to Madagascar, you get an adventure of a lifetime that cannot be replicated anywhere else in the world.
Madagascar is one of the countries that I want to revisit again and again and again. And stay the full visa every time. That is how amazing this country is. We road tripped the middle to Southern regions of Madagascar and every day was so memorable as we made our way through authentic villages and breathtaking sceneries.
Madagascar is such a big country to navigate with not the best infrastructure in place. So every day is an adventure. You can find yourself driving 8 or 10 hours in a day sometimes – and trust me, the destinations are more than worth it!
NATURE DESTINATIONS TO VISIT IN MADAGASCAR:

- Antananarivo – the capital of Madagascar. Yes, it is a city but seeing all of the farmlands and the massive lake with fishermen and all of the houses surrounding the lake was a highlight right at the start of our trip.

NAMIBIA

Namibia is the road trip of a lifetime. I don’t think there was any drive that we did during our road trip here that wasn’t beautiful. From the moment we crossed the border from South Africa into Namibia until the moment we left the North into Botswana, I was in complete awe of this country. Namibia quickly became one of the most beautiful nature destinations I have ever seen.
We were extremely lucky to have seen Namibia after the heaviest rainfall they have had in 50 years! So what is usually a dry deserted land, was transformed into lush green grasslands and flowers across the country. Even the desert had formed lakes amongst the sand dunes.
You can explore the second largest canyon in the whole world, walk amongst 200 000 seals (the biggest colony of seals in the world), be surrounded by massive sand dunes and petrified trees that make the landscapes look like Mars, go safari with the Big 5, camp in the wild with hippos and so much more! Every destination in Namibia that I will share below is worth visiting on your trip.
NATURE DESTINATIONS TO VISIT IN NAMIBIA:

- Fish River Canyon – the second largest canyon in the world. See it at sunset!
- Giant’s Playground & Quiver Tree Forest – alien looking trees and epic night photography!
- Sossusvlei – literally the most beautiful desert you will ever see.
- Deadvlei – 1000 year old petrified trees in the middle of the desert.
- Swakopmund – where you will visit Sandwich Harbor and you can look for unique desert wildlife here.
- Cape Cross – 200 000 seal colony!
- Spitzkoppe – absolutely amazing mountain scenery with natural pools and unique rock formations. Visit the Himba tribe here.
- Etosha National Park – safari and salt pans.
- Popa Falls – beautiful nature, wild camping, bird watching and hippo experiences.
ARGENTINA

Honestly, if I could live in Argentina I would. Everything about being in Argentina, especially in Southern Patagonia, just gives you as a nature traveler the most fulfilling feeling.
Something I loved about exploring the natural world of Argentina was the professionalism of the tours and how the country is so organized in their tourism. It made traveling here so pleasant and enhanced the experiences in each place.

You can immerse yourself in sceneries where glaciers are overturning in the waters, where snow mountain peaks surround turquoise lakes, where waterfalls flow in an abundance you have never seen before, where glaciers go as far as your eyes can see and alpine forests fringe the landscapes.
NATURE DESTINATIONS TO VISIT IN ARGENTINA:

- Iguazu Falls – the most beautiful, abundant and majestic waterfalls.
- Los Glaciares National Park – take a boat ride on Lago Argentina surrounded by snow mountains and ice bergs.
