Believe it or not, my name isn’t Homeless Backpacker. It’s actually Jesse. I’m 33 years old, born in Canada, and I’ve been traveling the world for the last 12 years.
I’ve been living out of a backpack for over a decade, long before travel became as popular as it is today. What started as a burning desire to make this dream my full time reality slowly turned into a life spent entirely on the road.
This platform is where I share what travel can do for someone’s life. My goal is to inspire people who think this lifestyle is impossible for them, to show how we can explore the world without leaving a negative impact, and to teach my community how to experience travel in the most wild and fun way imaginable.
Over the last 10+ plus years, I’ve chased adventures many people would never dare to take on. Like being one of the last outsiders allowed inside the capital of North Korea, getting stuck in India for nearly 2 years during the Covid pandemic, where my entire life direction changed, buying a 4×4 with zero experience and over-landing across Africa… and everything in between.
